Ditch the regular movie theater and go to a drive-in! New Jersey still has a few drive-in movie theaters left in the state, like the Warwick and Delsea Drive-In. Not only will you get to see a movie out on the open and in the comfort of your car, but you can stargaze or talk and tell each other jokes if the movie is boring.
Don’t forget to bring a small FM/AM radio to tune into the movie, you don’t want your car’s battery to run out!

Movie on the Green & Dinner in Hoboken
Sticking with the movie theme, during the summer months, Hoboken has a really cool outdoor “Movie on the Green” program. Try to plan out an evening to take your date to a dinner and a movie on the green in Hoboken’s Pier a Park. As for dinner, Washington Street in Hoboken has well-known restaurants and very cool places to grab a bite. Having a romantic date in Hoboken opens many opportunities, and will give you endless opportunities to impress your date.
If your date loves to dance, there are multiple bars and clubs around Washington St. and the Path Station. If music and dancing are not on the table, go for a hibachi dinner show at Rice Shop, which is also a BYOB joint.
Lastly, you can never go wrong with a nice stroll along the Hudson Rivera with a view to NYC’s skyline. You can even make it a night out with booking a room at the W Hoboken and wake up to the sunrise over the NYC skyline.

Get lost in a corn maze and hitch a hayride to a pumpkin patch. Plus, if your date loves Halloween, consider going on a date in a haunted house.
