Amazing Things to See in South Carolina

Are you planning a trip to the good old USA this year? Forget the typical tourist haunts and instead book a ticket to South Carolina. Neil Diamond probably wasn’t singing about the state when he wrote ‘Sweet Caroline’, but he definitely could have been because you’re guaranteed to have a good time on a vacation here. Here are a few reasons why you need to head over sooner rather than later.

Explore A Wonderful Natural Location

If you want to get back in touch with nature, this is the perfect place to do it at Congaree National Park. The forest has trees that scrape the sky and a range of different activities perfect for people who want to stay active on their next vacation.

For instance, you might want to think about traversing a woodland trail. Well, you can here and make sure to keep an eye out for a variety of woodland creatures always curious about humans wandering through their home. Or, perhaps you want to be a little more adventurous and if that’s the case we recommend trying canoeing. If you’ve never been canoeing, don’t worry, this national park has teachers ready to get you comfortable rowing down a river.

Lavish In Luxury At The Beach

If you want the more traditional type of vacation, Myrtle Beach is the place to be. This luxury resort has something for everyone and lets’ start with the accommodation. You can book a room somewhere like Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes. Did we say spa? We sure did, and your biggest problem here will be that you won’t want to leave the hotel to enjoy some other activities. But you really should, particularly if you’re traveling with kids or even grandkids. There’s an amusement park and of course the beach itself. Learn to surf, ride the waves or just relax on the beach and get a great tan. Here, you’ll be able to unwind and make the most of a fantastic vacation spot.

Of course, that’s not all, Myrtle Beach also has its own fantastic water park which is great for people of all ages. Be sure to check out the wave machine. It will knock you right off your feet!

Take A Trip Back In Time

Are you fascinated by historic architecture? You should certainly check out Charleston where you can literally see thousands of buildings that have been standing for hundreds of years. If you ignore the people taking selfies with their phones, it really is like walking through a district trapped in the past. You can even tour some homes including the 1808 Nathaniel Russell house that holds timeless pieces of art.

See The State’s Tallest Waterfall

Finally, if you do book a visit don’t forget to take a trip to Caesars Head State Park. Here you’ll be able to see the state’s tallest waterfall and enjoy some picturesque beauty spots, including Table Rock. There are plenty of fun outdoor activities to enjoy here too.

Have we convinced you to book a trip to South Carolina this year? You won’t be disappointed if you do.
